Re-imagining a prosperous and healthy future for all Sri Lankans
The Lanka Salad company is built on a bedrock of commitment to providing the highest quality produce and service, and to be an unstoppable force for good.
From our inception, our intention has been to guide and lead sustainable food production alongside an unwavering commitment to lifting our people, communities and customers to healthier and more prosperous lifestyles.

How we operate
staff
- We ensure fair and equal working conditions
- We have closed the gender pay gap
- We provide appropriate training and upskilling for our employees
- We operate with the highest standard of Health and Safety
Our Community
We have been delighted to support the Foundation for Disadvantaged Children in Bangadeniya. The foundation has a residential facility where 14 boys are cared for by two volunteer women. We have recently supported them to re-furnish the home, making the daily running of the home much easier.
The centre shares an access road with the Lanka Salad Company, which was in poor repair. LSC has been carrying out ongoing, much needed maintenance of the road, which has provided secure access to the Foundation.
Water
LSC have an ongoing relationship with the Chief Monk, with the goal of providing a water collection point at the local Temple.

outgrower initiative
LSC is in early stage development of establishing an outgrower network with farmers. The initiative is centred around a promise of knowledge transfer, providing farmers access to education on how to increase production whilst adopting sustainable farming practices.
This project would focus on fair pricing for the farmer, so that livelihoods are not only sustained, but improved.
Our Global Commitment
The Lanka Salad Company is committed to aligning operations with the targets of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to engender a profitable future. This means we measure our impact and provide positive contributions that are sensitive to the communities where we operate. We have identified 9 goals where we believe we can have the most impact. Our hope is that our contribution will support the achievement of these global targets by 2030;
1. No Poverty
2. Zero Hunger
3. Good Health and well-being
5. Gender equality
8. Decent work and economic growth
10.Reduced inequalities
12.Responsible consumption and production
